The city of Lima has put together a special transport service from September 2nd through the 11th to facilitate the access to the fair.

As a way to help facilitate access to the Costa Verde during this year’s Food Fair Mistura, the city of Lima is organizing a special transport service from September 2nd through the 11th.

Mistura 2016: everything you need to know

The service “Mistura” Metropolitan will have a flat fee of S/2.00 per ride.

The route will start at Av. Paseo de los Heroes (Central Station in downtown Lima), continue through Av. Paseo Colón, Plaza Bolognesi, Av. Brazil and Av. Sucre and then down to the Costa Verde in the district of Magdalena.

During weekdays, the city will be implementing 12 feeder buses, while Saturday and Sunday will have the use of 16 to 24 units. This transport will operate Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until 11:00 pm.

The bus stops of this service, in both directions are: Central Station, Hospital del Niño, Castro Virreyna, Bolivar, Vivanco, Javier Prado, Salaverry (all located along Av. Brasil) and finally the Fair Mistura.

Taking into account the number of foreign tourists coming to the biggest food fair in Latin America, the city will also deploy a team of bilingual guides to provide information on the bus service to and from the fair.
