The district of Magdalena del Mar announced today a thorough plan to ensure the safety of the, more than 500 thousand Peruvian and foreigner visitors *who will make their way to la Costa Verde, from September 2 till the 11th, for the ninth edition of the gastronomic fair: *Mistura.

The district said that security measures will be revamped for this edition, as they will make use of more security cameras and the monitor center located in the Costa Verde, allowing them access to all video surveillance installed in the area.

Also, more Serenazgo staff members will be available, patrolling the district on motorcycles, bikes, segway 24 hours a day.

Furthermore, city officials stressed the importance of having an efficient evacuation plan in place. For this purpose they have set up clear signaling in all exits and entrances, including alarms and a security protocol in case of a tsunami or earthquake.
