Music lovers, rejoice! Paul McCartney will soon return to Lima to delight fans with a concert.

According to Peru21, the concert will take place on April 25, 2014, and will be held in the Estadio Nacional in Lima.

McCartney’s appearance in Lima is reportedly being arranged by events firm Time For Fun (T4F).

“This is a project by Time For Fun, an international firm from Brazil that began operations in [Peru] this year, and it’s been confirmed that Paul McCartney will appear on 25 April in the Estadio Nacional with a capacity of 35,000 people,” a source from T4F told Peru21.

Peru21 reports that tickets for the McCartney concert will go on sale next week. No further information on tickets is available at this time.

Lima is set to receive a number of high-profile musical acts in 2014. Surf strummer Jack Johnson is coming to Lima for a March 3 concert. March 20 will mark the arrival of metal veterans Metallica, who will be performing in the Estadio Nacional.

Other acts set to play in Lima include grunge icons Soundgarden, alternative rockers The Pixies, and pop-rock group Thirty Seconds to Mars.
