The National Folkloric Dance Cast and Ruraq Maki will be a part of Mistura 2016. This Peruvian food fair will take place from Sept. 2 to the 11 on Costa Verde in Magdalena del Mar, Lima, Peru.

Due to an agreement put in place between the Ministry of Culture and the Peruvian Society of Gastronomy, the National Folkloric Dance Cast will be performing. It is the first association of traditional Peruvian dances next to the National Children’s Choir.

Also, for the third consecutive year, handmade crafts will be available for viewing and purchasing from Ruraq Maki. These crafts include basketry items made from plant fibers, other ceramic pieces, eating utensils and more. Many of the handmade items are produced in communities throughout the Amazon.
