Peru’s national under-20 soccer team tied 1-1 with Chile on Sunday afternoon, failing to secure enough points to qualify to the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Peru took an early lead after a header from Edison Flores surprised the Chilean goalkeeper 7 minutes into the first half.

However Chile was able to tie the match after a precise free kick from Bryan Rabello 34 minutes into the match.
