Museums in Peru to offer free admission over Independence Day holidays

Peru’s Ministry of Culture said museums under its administration across Peru will offer free entrance to general public from July 28 to 29 to promote Peru’s cultural heritage.

Peru\‘s Ministry of Culture said museums under its administration across Peru will offer free entrance to general public from July 28 to 29 to promote Peru\‘s cultural heritage.
Museums, on-site museums and archeological sites in Peru\‘s southeastern region of Cusco are not included in the list, according to a press release from said ministry.
The ministry administers over 50 museums throughout the country, including the National Museum of Archaeology, Anthropology and History of Peru, the Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum, Chavin National Museum, and Pukara Lithic Museum, among others.
The release also stated that this will be a great opportunity to discover and learn the amazing aircrafts and collections that illustrate Peru\‘s history.
