Peru president travels to Davos to take part in World Economic Forum

Peruvian President Ollanta Humala, who just finished his official visit to Spain, traveled on Friday to the city of Davos (Switzerland) to take part in the World Economic Forum's annual meeting which will count with the participation of the leaders of the world’s top economies.

President Humala left Madrid and arrived in Zurich at 11:40 am (05:40 Peruvian time).

From there, the Peruvian leader traveled to the city of Davos, located in the Swiss Alps, in order to participate in a working dinner which will address the subject: "Latin America: Transformation in a new global context."

On Saturday, Humala will take part in the World Economic Forum's annual meeting from 09:00 am (03:00 Peruvian time). During the afternoon, the Peruvian president will hold bilateral meetings.

President Humala will leave Switzerland on Sunday, January 29 at 08:00 Peruvian time and is expected to arrive in Lima at midnight, according to the Presidential Press Office.
