The ninth edition of the Wine Expo Wong begins today, Friday, Sept. 28 and will continue through Sunday at the Círculo Militar in Chorrillos.

The event will host stands from over 150 wineries from all over Peru, as well as from Chile, Argentina, Spain, Australia, the United States and others.

Pisco will also have a special place at the event: 40 producers of the national distillate will be present.

Attendees will be able to taste the wines and piscos and there will also be a number of presentations and conferences with well-known experts in the field. You can also expect to see artistic shows and the traditional sommelier competition.

Entrance to the event is S/. 150 and tickets can be bought at Teleticket in Wong and Metro. You can also buy a special tasting cup at the event for S/. 20.
