The Country Club Lima Hotel will be hosting a rum pairing dinner next Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 8:30 p.m.

The event will feature Peru’s Ron Cartavio, winner of many international awards and on par with the best Caribbean varieties.

The featured rums are all of the premium variety: Cartavio Blanco Añejo, the 12-year-old Cartavio Solera, the 5-year-old Cartavio, and the 18-year-old Cartavio XO.

Our own editor-in-chief, Carsten Korch, hails the XO as one of the best in the world.

At the dinner, the drinks will be paired with a tasting menu that will include flounder, lobster, lemon sorbet, suckling pig, and a chocolate desert.

The event will be led by Jorge Irribarren, the global embassador of the brand.

The price is s/. 170 per person.  For information or to make a reservation, call 611 7161.
